Get Over Yourself
I discovered this video from a post that Tim Ferris published last night. Please take a look when you need a perspective on what's going on in your life. When you think your problems are getting too much to handle or just need to recharge.

Thank you so much for posting this video! So inspired and moved!
(and done complaining!)
Cheers!
Just saw your twitter page where you posted a pic of the US Airways plane. Awesome pic, glad people were okay, crazy that you were there!

Actually saw this video last year, so inspiring. If I’m down, I think about this man. We are truly limitless. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for this vid/blog post. Just broke off engagement with fiancĂ©e and of course feel down in the dumps… But, things happen for a reason and of course there are a lot worse situations you could be in. Again, thank you.
Thanks for posting this great video – immediately sent to my wife and daughter.
And awesome job getting the pic of the plane going down – followed by interview on msnbc.

Many thanks . . . and thanks for the US Airways image. Take care.
Great post. It really puts life in perspective. Nice job with the airliner pic too. -V
wow, can really put things in perspective. It is nice to see him put a positive tone to his life with the outcome he has been given. It is hard for people to do that, especially nowadays with so many crises happening ’round us. I can only hope that I can remember this man when I am down and blue and am unhappy with life and realize that I have two arms and two legs and can use them and sometimes I choose not to. It is hard to remind myself that I have gifts that when aren’t used go to waste. I think about that a lot, is it a societal “think” or strictly limited within ourselves. It does matter what happens in the end.
This video makes me think of how we treat other people. Even considering how different he is, is there a way to treat him other than as another human being? No, there is not. All we have to do is treat each other the way we would want to be treated. Why can’t humanity as a whole figure that out? People like Nick remind us that we all have the same needs and desires, no matter what we appear to be on the outside. It is good that he is an individual who can spread the word in a meaningful and caring way. Rock on Nick! Thanks for the vid, JK.
Perfect.
