So to stay true to my challenge. I need to write something today, and there is only one thing that I can think of right now.
American Airlines…. and how bad they are in every aspect of doing business. I flew with them today and will try to never fly with AA again. I think their biggest issue is the antiquated system that AA uses for everything… at one point in the day I needed to have my ticket reassigned. This took the person over 10 minutes… I felt like Ben Stillers' character in "Meet the Parents" It was one of three simple tasks that took a very long time and made AA seem stuck in the last century… The other two were flight status issues and getting miles put on my account… I don't want this to be to much of a rant, but I hate to see a company that is basically doing everything in their power to lose my business.
However, I think AA's employees seem to care, but are buckled down by a system that can't keep up with the needs of the customer. They need to upgrade it or keep losing customers to other airlines.
Ok, I need some sleep.
